The problem

Servers take orders and never suggest anything.

Steps

1. Teach one dessert and one drink pitch per menu
2. Name the item, do not ask "anything else?"
3. Bring a dessert tray or show the menu at the right time
4. Track average check by server
5. Praise good suggestions in the pre-shift
